Portco Highlight: Sway Medical

This month’s Portco Highlight is Sway Medical, led by Alex Pettigrew and Chase Curtiss. Sway’s mission is to make sports injury diagnostics more accessible and efficient. Founded in 2011, Sway has facilitated over 3 million tests on its platform and is well on its way to achieving its goals.
Sway’s mobile app helps trainers, coaches, and athletes quickly assess injuries right after they happen. The app includes simple, science-backed tests for balance, cognition, and reaction time, as well as symptom surveys that help track recovery and keep athletes safe.
Sway stands out for its commitment to accuracy. They partner with independent researchers and medical experts to make sure every test meets high standards. Most recently, Sway announced an integration with Teamworks Performance, expanding how their platform supports athletic programs and performance monitoring nationwide.
Their tools aren’t just used on the sidelines but have also become a resource in healthcare settings, rehab clinics, and wellness programs across the country.

Cadenza Bio Publishes Peer Reviewed Study in Nature Portfolio Jounal
