Cortado Managing Partner Nathaniel Harding was recently interviewed by Jeffery Potvin on an episode of The Open People Network: #OPNAskAnAngel podcast to discuss what he looks for in a startup. Harding went on to talk about how Oklahoma’s startup ecosystem growth and development have made a way for entrepreneurs and early-stage companies.
“We certainly do spend a lot of time trying to know the entrepreneur, and their motivations, and really what’s driving them, where are they strong, where are they weak, how self-aware they are, and that’s you know there’s a lot to that because lack of self-awareness means you’re not going to see your blind spots. Once we feel like that the you know the big rocks, the big things are there as far as the team and the idea, and the market, then there is a period of getting to know that entrepreneur.”
