Andrew Aertker and Gavin Buchanan, co-founders of PatchRx, recently moved their headquarters after finding better funding opportunities in Tulsa. Tulsa-based Atento Capital led the company’s second pre-seed raise, followed by Oklahoma-based Cortado Ventures and New York-based funding network Gaingels Network. PatchRx is a startup that offers a prescription adherence software and hardware platform to pharmacies and pharmacy patients. PatchRx technology has been deployed by independent pharmacies and health systems in research studies across Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma.

“We also found some great opportunities. There is a cohort of really growing virtual health startups and the support from Atento Capital and the energy of Tulsa that brought us,” Aertker said.
